TKM Engineering (Pty) Ltd is one such company, founded in 1992 by then an engineering student, who had a dream to one day spearhead a world-class Building and Civil Engineering Construction Company in Botswana and the preferred Engineering Service Provider locally, regionally and internationally.

In 1995, TKM Engineering was incorporated as a 100% citizen owned company. Directed by the Managing Director, Mr. Tshotlego Chibere Kagiso (known as T.K), who has drawn on the extensive experience and knowledge acquired over the years; TKM Engineering has since grown in leaps and bounds; spreading its footprints to Palapye and in the mining towns of Jwaneng and Orapa.

The fedging TKM Engineering head ofce is situated at Plot 68289, Morula Industrial Park, Phakalane, Gaborone; in their cutting-edge building that was solely designed and built by the company.

Mr Kagiso and his team can’t help but feel their hearts swell with pride at the gleaming contemporary edifce lying in the afuent surburb of Gaborone. The remarkable ofce block is a resplendent ultra-modern building with spacious ofces, a well-equipped training room as well as their own server room ftted out with fbre optic cables to ensure fast bandwidth for internet. A fancy polymer signage boldly sits at the façade of the building; whilst the paved, well-marked parking spaces and the garden give a beautiful enriched look to the building. The building boasts a warehouse apportioned to keep diferent kinds of materials separately until they are needed for use. Right outside the warehouse is a large open area landscaped which translate into ample capacity for parking space for light and heavy vehicles, as well as heavy plant and machinery. The staf has a full furnished cafeteria for their tea and lunch breaks; and if they desire the fresh air outside there are wooden benches and seats where one can sit and enjoy Mother Nature.

Mr Kagiso is anchored by Mr Boipuso Masala and Mr Zenzo Mabutho; and together they pride in employing, some of the country’s most qualifed engineering professionals. All in all TKM Engineering has a staf compliment of two hundred and ffty (250) employees including management with access to a large roster of serviceable light and heavy vehicles, plant and equipment. For any resourcing gaps that might become evident on any given project, the company maintains reliable credit facilities with reputable hire companies that can rapidly deploy to assist. On the human resource front, TKM Engineering regularly employs additional personal depending on the workload available. Strategic alliances are also in place on an ongoing basis, guaranteeing specialist support from a variety of companies and individuals in such felds as electrical and mechanical construction.
